Youth Leadership Program
The Youth Leadership Program is designed to instill leadership qualities in adolescents ages 14 - 18. The program meets year-round, with subgroups varying throughout the year. This program matches mentees (youth) to mentors (responsible adults) in order to provide at-risk youth with appropriate role models. The program includes workshops, field trips and activities to help develop leadership skills.
YLP Subgroups:
Black Diamonds Girls Association which is a mentoring group for adolescent females. For more details contact Felicia Lowery at (216) 849-3202Cleveland Police Law Enforcement Explorers Program which is designed to initiate young adults, ages 13-21, to developing the skills and knowledge necessary to pursue a possible career in the police profession. Police-related training, community service projects, and competitions throughout the year all play an integral part in the program.
